About the Role

Position Overview
The Caregiver is the backbone for our home to deliver and maintain the highest standards of care within our facility. This position involves hands on care and assistance improving the well-being and day to day satisfaction of our residents. This is a unique opportunity to become a part of a dynamic team from the ground up, influencing the development and growth of our facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the daily care of residents, including personal care, medication management, and participating in activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
• Perform uphold and maintain care standards in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Follow and document resident care plans.
• Assist Resident Manager in general day to day upkeep of the home.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • At least 2 or more verifiable years of experience providing direct care, with prior resident management experience in an adult foster care setting preferred.

  • Knowledge of the regulations and standards governing adult foster care.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Commitment to providing compassionate, individualized care to adults with varying needs.

  • Proficiency in English.

  • 18 years old or older.

  • Approved background check.

  • Oregon Food Handlers Card.

  • Pre-service dementia training (can be completed after hire).

  • Mandatory Abuse Reporter.

  • Home and Community-Based Services Training.

  • Pre-service Infection Prevention and Control for Community Based Care.

  • Fire Safety.

  • CPR and First Aid certification.
