About the Role

Position Overview

The Live-In Resident Care Manager is a key position in establishing and maintaining the highest standards of care within our facility. This position involves direct oversight of daily operations and ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our residents. This is a unique opportunity to lead part of a dynamic team from the ground up, influencing the development and growth of our facility.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the daily care of residents, including personal care, medication management, and activity planning.- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.- Develop, implement, and maintain care standards in compliance with regulatory requirements.- Coordinate and manage resident care plans, including assessments, evaluations, and updates to meet changing needs.- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents' families, providing updates and addressing concerns.- Act as a primary liaison between residents, their families, and healthcare providers.- Lead and Supervise caregivers to providing safe, quality and outstanding care to the residents and the foster home.

Qualifications

At least 2 or more verifiable years of experience providing direct care, with prior resident management experience in an adult foster care setting preferred.

Ability to live on-site within the foster home.

Knowledge of the regulations and standards governing adult foster care.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to providing compassionate, individualized care to adults with varying needs.

Proficiency in English.

21 years old or older.

Attended Multnomah county AFH-APD orientation (can be completed after hire).

Proof of Ensuring Quality Care training and passing the exam (can be completed after hire).

Oregon Food Handlers Card

Approved background check.

Pre-service dementia training (can be completed after hire).

Mandatory Abuse Reporter.

Home and Community-Based Services Training.

Pre-service Infection Prevention and Control for Community Based Care.

Fire Safety.

CPR and First Aid certification.

What We Offer

Competitive salary, $4,500-5,000 monthly, depending on experience

Comprehensive benefits including medical benefits and paid time off.

Room and board included as part of the compensation package. Living arrangements include a (furnished) 340 square foot Master Bedroom full Bathroom, Private Entrance/Exit, 2 Closets, Dresser(s) and Bed.
